Privacy notice

Who we are

Arabesque Labs Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16408080, with our registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

For anything about your data, email hello@arabesquelabs.com.

What we collect and why

This website has no accounts, forms, analytics or advertising, and sets no cookies. We handle personal data in two limited ways:

• When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and to continue the conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes visitors’ IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

If you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and delete it within two years of our last contact unless it becomes part of an ongoing business relationship or we are required by law to keep it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. It is held by the service providers we rely on to run our email and this website, some of whom may process it outside the UK under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
